MoltKeeper Terms of Service

1. The agreement

By playing MoltKeeper (called Hatchkeep until October 2026) you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy at https://referencenull.com/privacy. If you do not agree, do not play. You must be at least 13 years old, or older where your country requires it.

2. Your account

• One account per person. You are responsible for what happens on it.
• A guest account lives on the device it was made on. Attach an email, Steam or Google sign-in to keep it; we cannot recover a guest account from a lost phone.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

3. What you make and share

• Your keeper name and your released creatures are visible to other players. Do not use a name or build anything that is hateful, harassing, sexual, impersonates someone, or infringes someone else's rights.
• You keep whatever rights you have in your creatures. You give us a licence to store, show, copy and use them inside the game and in the game's own marketing, for as long as they are in the Wilds and for as long as other players' histories reference them.
• Other players can report a creature or a name. A reported name stays as it is until we review it; we then hide it (it shows as "Keeper" to others), change it to "Keeper", or leave it. We may rename, recall or remove anything we judge to break these terms, without notice, and we may tell the reporter what happened.
• Friends, name reports and the Keepers boards are for verified accounts only. We may take verification away from an account that misuses them.
• Releasing a creature sends a copy. Recalling it removes the copy from the pool, but stage results other players already earned against it stay.

4. Fair play

Do not: use bots, scripts, modified clients or exploits; interfere with the servers or other players; sell, trade or share accounts; or try to get currency, parts or rewards other than by playing or buying them. We re-simulate fights on the server, and results that do not match are discarded.

5. Purchases, currency and subscriptions

• Purchases are made through Google Play or Steam, and their terms and refund rules apply. We do not handle payment details.
• Amber and every other in-game currency, part, creature and cosmetic is a limited licence to use a feature of the game. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and is not refundable by us except where the law requires it.
• Subscription tiers (Keeper, Warden) renew monthly through the store you bought them in until you cancel there. Perks end when the subscription does; cosmetics you were given as a subscriber stay.
• Rewarded ads are optional and off by default. A reward is granted only when the ad provider confirms the ad was watched.
• We may change prices, products and what they include. Changes apply to future purchases.

6. Ending things

You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may end the service or any part of it; if we shut the game down we will say so in advance where we reasonably can. Currency and items are not refunded when an account is closed for breaking these terms.

7. The game is provided as is

MoltKeeper is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The game will tell you when it next opens if a change matters, and continuing to play after that is acceptance.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and disputes go to the courts there, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
